Basic Course outline:

•Identify different anesthesia techniques

-Types of sedation

- Integration of sedation and dentistry in private practice

- Learn how to gain IV access to provide sedation

•Review common medications for conscious sedation

•Understand basic airway equipment and rescue maneuvers

•Discuss appropriate patient selection

•Identifying and managing of emergencies in the dental office

•Review basic airway anatomy

*Hands on clinical demonstrations of I.V. conscious sedation 20 cases per participant under the direct supervision and guidance of our experienced faculty
